SPLM Women League

The SPLM Women League is an integral structure of the Movement. It strengthens women's participation in Party activities, leadership, peacebuilding, and national development through the national, state, county, payam, and grassroots structures that carry SPLM work across the country.

The League promotes inclusion, equality, and women's empowerment within those structures and in public life. Women League leadership and bodies link the national centre to states and localities so mobilisation, training, and community programmes stay coordinated with the wider Party.

Through this reach, the League supports women as partners in peace, stability, good governance, and development from the capital to county and payam, while upholding unity and collective responsibility.

Message from the Chairperson, SPLM National Women League

The SPLM National Women League remains an integral structure of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement, with women playing a vital role in the history, unity, and development of the Party and the nation.

The League mobilizes and organizes women across all Party structures to support participation, unity, and engagement in community and national programmes in line with the principles of the Movement.

Women of the SPLM continue to uphold the values of unity, equality, and collective responsibility, strengthening the Party's connection with communities and contributing to peace and stability.

As Chairperson, I encourage women across the country to remain united, active, and committed to the vision of the SPLM in promoting peace, strengthening national unity, and advancing development for a prosperous South Sudan.
