Accessibility

Our commitment to a website that everyone can use.

The SPLM wants every South Sudanese citizen, and everyone interested in the Party, to be able to read and use this website. That includes people who are blind or have low vision, people who cannot use a mouse, and people on older phones or slow connections.

What we have done

  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page lets keyboard and screen-reader users go straight to the main content.
  • Menus, links, buttons and forms can be used with a keyboard alone.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can describe their structure.
  • Photographs have text descriptions.
  • Pages adapt to phones, tablets and computers, and text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom without breaking the layout.
  • Images are compressed and loaded only when needed, so pages work on slower mobile connections.

Known limitations

  • Some PDF documents, especially older scanned historical documents, may not be fully readable by screen readers.
  • Some videos on the SPLM Stream page may not have accurate captions.
  • The website is currently available in English only.

We are working to improve these areas.

Tell us about a problem

If you find a page or document you cannot use, or need information in another format, write to [email protected] or use the Contact page. Tell us the page address and what went wrong, and we will do our best to help.
