SPLM State Structures
The SPLM organises through State, County, Payam, and Boma structures so decisions and programmes can move from national leadership toward members and supporters. At national level this sits alongside the National Convention, National Liberation Council, Political Bureau, and National Secretariat.
The National Secretariat coordinates implementation, organisation, communication, and administration across national, state, county, and grassroots levels, including in the states and administrative areas of South Sudan.
These structures support unity, collective leadership, and participation by members in public life and national development. The table below lists the states and administrative areas of the Republic of South Sudan.
