About Cde. Kwong Danhier Gatluak
Kwong Danhier Gatluak serves as 1st Deputy Secretary General of the SPLM National Secretariat, where he co-directs the Movement's organizational strategy, policy alignment, and national administrative operations.
His public service spans more than three decades. He previously served as SPLM Secretary for Security and Defence, Minister for Transport, Roads and Bridges, and Deputy Minister and Acting Minister for Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development — where he oversaw the enactment of the Pension Fund Act and the Labour Act. He also served as State Minister in the Ministry of Interior and rose to the rank of Brigadier General in the SPLA following the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Daystar University, Kenya.
